For the first time in 15 years, there is a new generation of Toyota Tundra. The highly anticipated 2022 Toyota Tundra gets a bold new look, upgraded technology, and more powerful performance options, including a new Hybrid powertrain. Almost everything about the new 2022 Tundra has been redesigned, reinforced and revamped. While you will recognize this new pickup as a Toyota Tundra by its overall body shape, the rest is all-new and ready to rumble.
Design
The third-generation 2022 Tundra gets a modern new look with more athletic, chiseled features and a massive front grille. Inside, driver and passengers will enjoy a tailored cabin with more quality materials, available leather trim, and pads across high-contact areas. The new fully boxed body-on-frame design improves ride handling and passenger comfort, and you will have the option of two or four doors on specific trims.
Power
The full-size 2022 Toyota Tundra replaces the previous V8 with a more powerful 3.5L twin-turbo V6 i-FORCE engine boasting 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. An all-new i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain is also available (spring 2022) and pumps out a massive 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. The 2022 Tundra hybrid maximizes power with fewer emissions.
Capability
Available Multi-Terrain Select and Crawl Control take the new Tundra off the beaten path with ease. The 2022 Tundra TRD Pro offers even more off-road capability with a front stabilizer bar, underbody protection, 2.5-inch Fox dampers, and 33-inch Falken all-terrain tires.
Able to tow up to 12,000 pounds, the new 2022 Toyota Tundra utilizes high-strength steel and lightweight aluminum to reinforce rigidity and keep its overall weight down. A brand new multi-link rear suspension replaces the old leaf springs with more pliable coil springs allowing for improved efficiency and shock absorption. New double wishbone front suspension improves handling and high-speed driving. new available air spring suspension raises the Tundra to tackle obstacles in your path or lower the pickup to load and unload the truck bed.

What makes the all-new Tundra really exciting is all the advanced new tech inside. From tow assist features to the latest infotainment, the 2022 Toyota Tundra boasts more advanced features than ever. The 2022 Tundra will be among the first to use Toyota’s next-generation multimedia software with a voice-activated Virtual Assistant, Human Machine Interface, multiple User Profiles, and five times more processing power with over-the-air update (OTA) capability.
